Is listing free? ▾
Waitlist members will get free early access at launch. After the free period, there will be a small listing fee — we'll survey waitlist members before setting prices, so joining the waitlist gives you a say.
Who are the students? ▾
Domestic and international university students across Australia. Every student is OTP-verified by email and completes a detailed housing profile including budget, preferred suburbs, lifestyle preferences and move-in timeline.
Does UniRenter charge a commission? ▾
No. UniRenter is not a real estate agent and charges no commission or percentage of rent. The platform charges a flat listing access fee — not a percentage of any transaction.
Is UniRenter a real estate agent? ▾
No. UniRenter is a lead generation and matching platform only. We hold no licence under the Property and Stock Agents Act 2002 (NSW), Estate Agents Act 1980 (VIC), or Property Occupations Act 2014 (QLD). You manage your tenancy directly.
